Jewelry Cleaning and Care Tips:

Storing Tips:

1. Fasten the clasp: It is best to store your jewelry with the clasp fastened to insure that the items don't get tangled.
2. Store your jewelry in a dry spot; bathrooms are the worst place.
3. Do not stack your jewelry: Stacking your jewelry may cause damage and scratches to the finish.

Gemstones:

Gemstones are nature's gift. Each stone is unique. When selecting a natural gemstone please be aware that no two stones will be identical. The markings on the stone are part of the character and natural markings of the stone. At Sarah, each stone is hand selected, polished, and inspected for its natural beauty.

Sterling Silver:

Our sterling silver items are .925 silver which means that 92.5% of the metal used is pure silver. Silver by nature will tarnish. All of Sarah's sterling silver jewelry has a protective coating to help prevent tarnishing. However, in time, silver will tarnish. If your silver tarnishes, a silver cleaner may be used.

Gold plating:

Many of Sarah's gold tone items are gold plated. These items are dipped in gold to give the item the look of a fine gold jewelry piece. The mils of gold plating are substantial and carefully controlled to insure a beautiful luster of gold.

Length of multi strand necklaces:

In a multi strand necklace, the length shown in copy is for the shortest strand. Most of our necklaces have an extender, which allows you to modify the length as desired.

Out of Stock items:

If you order a popular item that is temporarily out of stock, the balance of your order will be filled and you will be notified in writing. As soon as the out of stock item is received, your order will be prioritized and shipped directly to you.
